Creator Program Terms

Version 2.1, 3 September 2026. These terms apply to the LeLunar Creator Program on lelunar.com and handsfreedryer.com. Submitting an application means you have read them; our written acceptance of your application makes them the agreement between you and LeLunar. Version 2.1 replaces version 1.2 for all creators accepted from this date.

The short version

This summary is here so nobody has to read legal text to understand the deal. If the summary and the full terms ever differ, the full terms below apply.

  • Three ways in. Creator: 1 approved video, 10% commission. Creator +: 2 approved videos, 20%. Ambassador: the full partnership, starting at 25% with room to climb toward 40%. You apply for the one you want and you can move up at any time.
  • Higher rates are earned, not automatic. Every Ambassador starts at 25%. We review rates every quarter, and you can ask for a review yourself whenever you feel your numbers deserve it. A rate we agree never goes back down during your partnership year.
  • The dryer is a gift. You pay a €15 shipping deposit after you are accepted, never before, and you get it back with your first payout once you have delivered your videos.
  • Your 36 days start when the parcel is delivered, not when you apply or pay. We e-mail you the exact deadline that day.
  • You film it your way, we post it. No script, no brief, no approval of your edit. You send us the file, we post it on @handsfreedryer and invite you as collaborator, so it shows on your profile and ours. A video counts when it meets the six basic rules below.
  • We invest in what works. When a video performs, we put our own advertising budget behind it with your link and code still attached, so the sales it brings still pay your commission. This costs you nothing and is never a condition of anything.
  • How long you earn. Creator and Creator + partnerships run 6 months from delivery. Ambassador partnerships run a full year. Both can continue after that.
  • Commission is calculated after VAT. VAT is settled first; your rate applies to the product price that remains, after any discount, excluding shipping. Paid monthly from a €50 balance, after the 30-day return window.
  • Your videos stay yours. You let us post them on @handsfreedryer as a Collab with you and feature the best ones on @lelunarofficial, with credit. Running your video as a paid partnership ad from your own account is a separate agreement with its own fee, and never happens without your yes.

1. Who this agreement is between

"LeLunar", "we" and "us" means LeLunar, the operator of lelunar.com and handsfreedryer.com, based in the Netherlands. "You" means the creator who applies to the program. You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement. You take part as an independent creator, not as an employee, agent or representative of LeLunar, and nothing here creates an employment relationship, partnership or exclusivity.

2. Definitions

  • Level: Creator (1 video, 10%), Creator + (2 videos, 20%) or Ambassador (starting at 25%, with rate reviews under section 11), as requested in your application and confirmed by us.
  • Delivery date: the day the carrier records your parcel as delivered.
  • Content window: the 36 days starting on the delivery date, during which your committed videos must be sent to us.
  • Earning window: the period during which your link and code earn commission, starting on the delivery date. Six months at Creator and Creator + level, twelve months at Ambassador level. Renewable under section 10.
  • Approved video: a video that meets all of the rules in section 6. A video counts on the day we post it on @handsfreedryer.
  • Link and code: the personal tracking link and personal discount code we issue to you through our affiliate software.
  • Deposit: the €15 shipping deposit described in section 4.
  • Boost: paid distribution that LeLunar buys, at our own cost and from our own ad accounts, for a video already posted on @handsfreedryer, as described in section 9.7.

3. Applying and being accepted

Applications are open worldwide and are reviewed by a person. We reply within 7 days with one of three answers: accepted at the level you asked for, accepted at another level, or declined. Acceptance is at our discretion and is based on your content and fit with our audience, not on follower count. A declined application can be resubmitted after three months with new work. The agreement starts on the day we e-mail our acceptance.

4. The dryer and the deposit

On acceptance you receive a LeLunar Hands-Free Dryer kit as a gift. You pay a €15 shipping deposit through the private checkout link in your acceptance e-mail; you never pay anything before acceptance. We ship the version suited to your region (230 V for the EU and UK, 120 V for the US through our US partner Pleume). For destinations outside the EU we confirm shipping arrangements with you before you pay. The deposit is refunded in full if we cannot ship to you or if either side cancels before dispatch.

The deposit is refunded with your first commission payout once your 36-day review confirms that you have delivered the videos your level requires. If no approved video is received in the content window, the deposit is not refunded. The dryer itself is yours to keep in every case; we do not ask for it back.

The kit is for your own use in creating content. It carries our standard consumer warranty; use it as described in the manual. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by use outside the manual.

5. What you commit to

At Creator level you send us 1 approved video within the content window. At Creator + level, 2. Ambassadors agree a content plan with us before the partnership starts and keep creating through the partnership year, at a rhythm we set together and never a punishing one. Each video must be distinct content.

You choose the hook, the angle, the music and the edit. We do not provide a script and we do not approve or reject edits on creative grounds. We may ask you to fix a video only where a rule in section 6 has been missed (for example the dryer is not visible), and a corrected video counts. We post each approved video on @handsfreedryer within 7 days of receiving it and invite you as collaborator.

6. What counts as an approved video

  1. Filmed by you, with the dryer clearly in use: your hands, your hair, your space.
  2. Vertical (9:16), at least 15 seconds long, with reasonable light and sound. Phone footage is welcome.
  3. Sent to us as the original file (a WeTransfer, Drive or Dropbox link), not a screen recording, a re-upload or a repost.
  4. Honest. No invented specifications, results or test figures; no medical or therapeutic claims. Product facts come from lelunar.com or LeLunar Labs. If you need a fact we have not published, ask us.
  5. You accept the Collab invitation from @handsfreedryer within 48 hours of the post going up, so it appears on your profile and ours.
  6. You remain a collaborator on the post for the length of your earning window and keep your link or code in your bio for the same period.

We write the caption, including your credit, the #ad disclosure and your code, and we do not change your video beyond trimming for length or format.

7. Disclosure and advertising rules

Because we post the video from @handsfreedryer with you as collaborator, the disclosure sits in our caption and we are responsible for it. If you share, re-post or talk about the video on your own channels, you are responsible for disclosing the partnership there, in line with the rules that apply to you: in the EU the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and national codes such as the Dutch Reclamecode Social Media & Influencer Marketing; in the UK the CAP Code and CMA guidance; in the US the FTC Endorsement Guides. In practice: say it is a partnership, early and clearly, and never present a gifted or commissioned video as an unpaid opinion.

8. Things you may not do

  • Make false, misleading, medical or therapeutic claims about the dryer, or about hair health results it cannot support.
  • Post fake reviews, buy followers, views or engagement, or use bots or engagement pods on program content.
  • Buy through your own link or code, or have friends and family do so to generate commission.
  • Publish your code on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or run paid search ads on "LeLunar", "L'Lunar", "hands free dryer" or similar terms.
  • Use LeLunar trademarks in your username, profile name or domain, or present yourself as LeLunar staff.
  • Use footage that is not yours, or music you do not have the right to use commercially in content you agree to license for advertising.
  • Create content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual or degrading, or that would embarrass a reasonable brand.

A serious breach of this section ends the agreement immediately and forfeits unpaid commission on affected orders.

9. Your content and how it may be used

9.1 You own your videos. Copyright stays with you. Nothing here transfers ownership to LeLunar.

9.2 Included licence: posting on @handsfreedryer. By sending us a video you grant LeLunar a non-exclusive, worldwide licence, for 24 months from posting, to publish it on @handsfreedryer as a Collab post with you, to feature it on @lelunarofficial, lelunar.com, handsfreedryer.com and our e-mail newsletter, and to keep it there for the term of the licence. We may trim for length or format but will not alter your message. This licence is a condition of the program and is confirmed by the checkbox in the application form. If you remove yourself from a Collab post before your earning window has passed, that video no longer counts toward your level.

9.3 Separate videos for @lelunarofficial. Creators whose videos perform may be invited to make additional videos specifically for LeLunar's main account. Those are agreed separately, in writing, with their own scope and fee, and are never a condition of your level.

9.4 Paid advertising from your own account: always a separate agreement. If we would like to run your video as a partnership ad from your own account (Meta partnership ads or a TikTok Spark Ads code), or to have an edited version made, we will ask. Each such use requires a separate written agreement (e-mail is sufficient) stating the video, the platforms, the territory, the period, whether editing is allowed, and the fee. Suggested starting point: a fixed fee per video per 6-month period, with your commission continuing on sales the ad drives through your code. You may decline any request, and declining does not affect your level, your commission or your standing in the program.

9.5 Music and third-party material. Use music you have the right to use, or leave the video without music and we will add a licensed track. Platform music libraries usually do not cover advertising use; if you agree to advertising use of a video, we replace the track where needed.

9.6 Removal. If you ask us to take a video down for a serious personal reason we will remove it from our channels within 10 working days, except for paid advertising already agreed and running, which ends at the end of its agreed period.

9.7 Boosting: we put budget behind what performs. Videos that perform well on @handsfreedryer may be boosted, which means we buy paid distribution for the post from our own ad accounts and at our own cost, under the licence in 9.2. When we boost, your link and code stay attached, so every sale the boost drives is tracked to you and pays your commission at your confirmed rate, exactly like an organic sale. Boosting is our decision and our spend; it is not a fee owed to you and not something you can require. It is separate from 9.4: boosting keeps the post on our account, whereas running the video from your account or in a re-cut form still needs your written yes. Ambassadors get first consideration for boosting budget. You may ask us to stop boosting a specific video at any time and we will stop within 5 working days.

10. Reviews, levels and moving up

36-day review. At the end of the content window we count approved videos received and confirm your level and rate. At Creator and Creator + level you simply move to the level that matches what you delivered: one video instead of two keeps you at 10%, with no penalty beyond the rate itself. For Ambassadors we confirm your rate once we have reviewed your first videos together. If no approved video is received at any level, the agreement ends, your link and code are deactivated, commission earned on genuine orders up to that date is still paid, and the deposit is not refunded.

Moving up between levels. You can ask to move from Creator to Creator +, or from either to Ambassador, at any time. Deliver the videos the higher level asks for and your new rate applies to sales from the day we confirm it. Rates are never applied backwards. Moving to Ambassador is a decision we make on your whole profile, the same way we decide rate reviews under section 11, so it is a conversation rather than an automatic upgrade.

End of the earning window. At the end of your earning window (6 months for Creator and Creator + levels, 12 months for Ambassadors) we look at content quality, sales, engagement, adherence to these terms and overall fit, and tell you whether we would like to continue. If we continue, your link and code stay active at your confirmed rate until either side ends the agreement under section 13, and you receive early access to new launches. If not, we part on good terms; you keep the dryer and the licence in 9.2 continues for its term.

11. Commission and payment

  • Rate. 10% at Creator level, 20% at Creator + level, and 25% at Ambassador level to begin with, provisionally at the level you applied for and confirmed or adjusted at the 36-day review. Adjustments apply to future sales; commission already earned is not recalculated.
  • Rate reviews for Ambassadors. Every Ambassador starts at 25%, and rates above that are earned rather than triggered automatically. We review Ambassador rates every quarter, and you can ask for a review yourself at any time by e-mailing us with the subject "Rate review". In a review we look at the sales your link and code actually produce, the quality and consistency of your videos, how your audience responds to them, how well your profile fits where the brand is heading, and how the partnership works day to day. If we agree on a higher rate we confirm it in writing, it applies to orders placed from the first day of the following month, and it is never reduced again during your partnership year. The top of the range is 40%. We do not publish fixed thresholds, because a creator whose audience converts beautifully at a smaller scale can be worth more to us than a larger one who sells less, and we would rather judge the whole picture than a single number.
  • Base. Commission is calculated on the net product price of each qualifying order: the price paid for LeLunar products after any discount, with VAT deducted first, and excluding shipping, payment fees and any non-product items. Example at the €180 offer price with 21% VAT, net €148.76: €14.88 at 10%, €29.75 at 20%, €37.19 at 25% and €59.50 at 40%. At the €250 regular price, net €206.61: €20.66, €41.32, €51.65 and €82.64.
  • Tracking. Orders are attributed to you through your personal link or code by our affiliate software on a last-click basis with a 30-day tracking window. Orders that cannot be attributed to you by the software do not earn commission; we cannot add attribution manually after the fact.
  • Returns. Orders that are refunded, returned, charged back or cancelled do not earn commission; if commission was already paid, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
  • Timing. Commission becomes payable 30 days after the order, once the return window has closed. Your first payout is released after the 36-day review at your confirmed rate and includes the deposit refund. Thereafter we pay monthly, in the first week of the month, for balances of €50 or more; smaller balances roll over.
  • Method. PayPal or bank transfer (SEPA) through our affiliate software, in euros. You are responsible for any taxes, social charges or registrations that apply to your income; where you are VAT-registered, invoices are handled by self-billing through the affiliate software or by agreement.
  • Duration. Your link and code earn commission during your earning window (6 months at Creator and Creator + levels, 12 months at Ambassador level, from the delivery date) and, if renewed under section 10, until the agreement ends.

12. Confidentiality

Anything we share with you that is not public (unreleased products, launch dates, pricing plans, performance figures) stays between us until we publish it. Your own performance figures are yours to share.

13. Ending the agreement

Either side may end the agreement at any time with 14 days' written notice by e-mail; we may end it immediately for a serious breach of sections 6, 7 or 8. On ending: your link and code are deactivated at the end of the notice period; commission honestly earned on orders placed before deactivation is paid on the normal schedule; the posting licence in 9.2 continues for its term; any paid-advertising agreement runs to the end of its agreed period; boosting of your videos stops within 5 working days; you keep the dryer. Videos already posted stay up, with you as collaborator, for the length of your earning window unless we agree otherwise.

14. Your data

We store your application, contact details, social handles, shipping address, content links, review notes and commission records to run the program, for as long as you are in it and for 3 years afterwards for accounting and legal reasons. We share shipping details with our carriers and payment details with our affiliate-software and payment providers. We do not sell your data. Our privacy policy explains your rights under the GDPR, including access and deletion.

15. Liability

We are not liable for lost earnings, platform changes, account restrictions or the performance of any video, boosted or organic. Our total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the commission earned and unpaid plus the deposit. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You are responsible for your own content and for complying with the rules of the platforms you publish on.

16. Changes to the program

We may update these terms or the program. Changes take effect for you from your next review or renewal, and never reduce a commission rate already confirmed for your current earning window. We will e-mail you about material changes. Continuing in the program after that e-mail means you accept the updated terms.

17. Law and contact

This agreement is governed by the law of the Netherlands, and any dispute that we cannot resolve together is submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country that may apply to you.
