Every LeLunar dryer is covered by the two-year legal conformity guarantee provided under European Union consumer law. If your product is not what it should be, we put it right. This page explains what that means in practice, what is covered, what is not, and exactly how to make a claim.
What the guarantee is
Under EU law, goods sold to consumers must conform to the contract of sale — they must match their description, be fit for their normal purpose, and show the quality you would reasonably expect. If a defect appears within two years of delivery, you have a legal right to a remedy at no cost to you.
This is a legal right, not a marketing promise, and it applies automatically. You do not need to register your product, keep the original packaging, or buy anything additional to benefit from it. Your proof of purchase is your order confirmation.
This is in addition to your right of withdrawal
The two-year guarantee and the 14-day EU right of withdrawal are two separate things, and one does not replace the other.
- The 14-day right of withdrawal lets you change your mind about a purchase made at distance, for any reason at all, with no fault required. Full details are on our Returns & Refund Policy page.
- The 2-year guarantee applies when something is actually wrong with the product, and it continues long after the 14-day window has closed.
The guarantee is in addition to, never instead of, your withdrawal rights. Nothing on this page limits any right you hold under the consumer law of your country of residence.
What is covered
- Manufacturing and assembly defects — anything that was wrong with the unit when it left the factory.
- The digital motor — failure to start, loss of power, abnormal noise or vibration, or failure to reach its rated speed.
- The heating element — no heat, inconsistent heat, or failure of one or more of the four heat modes.
- Electronics and controls — unresponsive buttons, speed settings that do not switch, a cold shot that does not engage, or ionic output that fails.
- Power cable and internal wiring — faults present from manufacture.
- Mounting hardware — tripod or wall-mount components that fail structurally in normal use.
What is not covered
- Accidental damage — drops, impacts, crushed cables, or liquid ingress.
- Misuse — operating the unit outside its instructions, running it on the wrong voltage, or using it with non-LeLunar parts.
- Unauthorised repair — a unit that has been opened or modified by anyone other than us or a party we have authorised.
- Normal wear on consumables — filters and attachments degrade with use. This is expected and is not a defect.
- Cosmetic marks from ordinary handling that do not affect function.
- Commercial abuse — intensive professional use without a B2B agreement in place. Salon-floor duty cycles are far heavier than domestic use; if you operate professionally, arrange proper terms via B2B & Salons so your cover matches how the unit is actually used.
- Counterfeit units. Products not bought from an official channel carry no guarantee and cannot be serviced by us. See Report a Counterfeit.
How to make a claim
- E-mail us. Write to info@lelunar.com with the subject line Warranty claim.
- Include the essentials. Your order number, a clear description of the fault, when it started, and a photo or short video showing the problem. A ten-second clip of the fault happening is worth several paragraphs of description and usually removes an entire round of correspondence.
- Assessment. We review what you have sent. Some faults are resolved on the spot with a settings or assembly fix; where they are not, we will tell you whether we need the unit returned and arrange it with you.
- Resolution. Depending on the fault we will repair the unit, replace it, or issue a refund. A remedy under the guarantee costs you nothing.
We aim to acknowledge every claim quickly and to keep you informed while it is open. Related reading: Shipping & Delivery, FAQ, or reach us any time via Contact.
